Seeing a line of containers lined up was a fresh sight I don’t usually see. I wondered if I could really stay in such a container, but inside the room was a normal business‑hotel room, nothing too big or too small, with a semi‑double bed, a work desk, a TV, a unit bath, and just the basics, so it felt like an ordinary room. The amenities were self‑served at the front desk. Breakfast was a frozen food item you chose from a counter next to the front desk and heated in the room’s microwave. The location and the fact that it’s just a business‑hotel class room made the price feel a bit high. Also, I received a QR code by email that said, “Please scan this QR code on the tablet installed at the facility to check in.” When I actually went to the front desk, it was a normal staffed check‑in, so I didn’t understand what that instruction was for.
