“Prima plek!”

The B&B is in a historic building in the heart of Ferwert, a small village near the Wadden Sea, and it’s a great spot for trips to the islands; there is a large kitchen/living area and I could safely lock my bike in the courtyard, and I received extra bath towels because I was staying multiple days; the bed was good. My room, however, was very small, especially with a mini‑kitchen block and a fridge, even though there is a large shared kitchen; a bedside lamp would have been useful.

“Mooie, rustige accomodatie, prima uitvalsbasis voor Noord Friesland en Ameland!”

The small room with its own shower was very clean; there are two shared toilets on the hallway and a shared kitchen/living room on the first floor; the restaurant on the ground floor is in a historic 18th‑century inn (the building dates back to the early 1500s); it’s very quiet and the town is pretty. However, a kitchen block in the small room, in addition to the communal kitchen, is probably unnecessary, and a private toilet would be much more desirable.

The establishment has a beautiful history and is tastefully decorated in the picturesque village of Ferwert; the hostess is wonderful and cooks excellently, and the local beers, made with old recipes, are definitely worth trying. The only downside was that I had to leave the next day.

The location is nice; the building is beautifully renovated, the room is great, and the price‑quality ratio could be reconsidered.
