“Fennakadás a szoba elfoglalásakor, különben kellemes”
We spent one night there, and the room’s equipment was fine and the whole stay pleasant. We checked in online, so the process was quick in person. Our main issues were: the room‑type description on the site was slightly misleading, and the photos uploaded were also off. I used the upgrade service to get a better room. We ended up with a “Superior double room – park view”, but the pictures promised a view of the cathedral; in reality we saw the railway tracks and the park, as the other images for that type showed. It would have helped to note that the photos are only illustrative, though this wasn’t a huge problem. The bigger problem was on‑site reception. After completing the online check‑in as requested, we received our room key and were ready to settle in after a long trip. We were wrong. When we climbed to the fifth floor with our luggage, we were met with chaos. Tools, trash, and a kind staff member were coming out of the bathroom, just finishing a renovation. We were all confused by the scene. The room was uninhabitable. We had to go back to the ground floor, report the issue, and the staff was surprised but offered only a single apology. It’s unprofessional to let a room be occupied while it’s under renovation and not usable. A few more minutes later we were given a similar room on the seventh floor. Aside from the one apology, nothing else was offered for the inconvenience. I feel the situation was handled poorly. After a long process, we finally managed to occupy our room.
