The whole place felt cozy and welcoming, like stepping into a favorite aunt’s house. The staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and offered great local tips. In the Commons Club I enjoyed a tasty whiskey sour, and at the restaurant the hotel’s fish and chips were unforgettable—once I’ve had that, I’ll never eat fish and chips the same way again. A waitress served the dish, adding to the sublime experience. I might never stay here again, but the memory will stay with me forever.
