The property was huge and right on the beach.
Windflower is kept in top shape—from spotless cottage rooms to beautiful walkways that lead straight to Varca beach—making it a premium, hassle‑free getaway that I’d highly recommend for families; having bicycles would make exploring the area a lot easier.
The property boasts greenery, parking, beachfront access, a restaurant, and food; however, the pool water had an extremely high level of chlorine or chemicals, the place is very secluded, and the gym is quite basic.
“Brilliant location, decent stay”
The beach was great and the swimming pool was exceptional, but it shuts down at 7:00 pm, so it’s still too dim in summer and by the time you get back from the beach the pool isn’t usable; the food could be better, and the cottage layout feels very claustrophobic.
We loved the location, the staff were very attentive, and the facilities were great, but the spa treatment needs investment; the masseuses are amazing but understaffed (the phone kept ringing and they had to answer during the massage), and the place feels quite run down compared to the rest of the hotel, which is a shame.
