The bungalow’s proximity to public access on Long Beach is great, and the family staff are wonderful and friendly. However, the large kitchen area offers no way to cook anything—no microwave or burner and no amenities at all. I feel I overpaid $10 a night for this bungalow; the same price could have gotten me a smaller room on the beach with a restaurant and pool.

The bungalow‑style room was very hot during the day, but the bathroom was spacious, and the room had fans and a mini‑fridge. The location was excellent, with outdoor seating outside the room, and parking was available for motorbikes. I found a little blood on my sheets and one pillowcase, and the room was dark during the day but cooled well at night with the fans. The rooms feel dated, but for the price I paid I’m not complaining – it was adequate for the one night I stayed.

The place was cheap, in a good spot close to the beach, cozy to stay in and near a grocery store, but there was no AC in our room—just fans, which made it unbearably hot, so next time I’d pick a room with AC; also the bathroom lacked curtains, which was a bit disappointing.
