The staff are amazing, friendly, and helpful, even taking time to tell us about local sights. Our room was tired, but it seems they’re planning a redecorating.

The village location is nice and full of history. The room was clean and comfy, with fluffy towels and a good selection of drink sachets. The shower had plenty of hot water. Staff were friendly and breakfast was great. There was a bit of plumbing noise at night, which is normal in older buildings, and the car park is a bit tight, though there is space along the roads.

It’s a lovely, comfortable, clean, friendly, and well‑appointed place in a beautiful village. The food is excellent, the staff outstanding, and I would definitely stay again. Nothing to criticize.
