“Charming older style property perfectly located for our road trip around lovely Crete.”
A charming spot with an excellent taverna, and we enjoyed a lovely supper.

Excellent welcome, a very pleasant place, all the comforts in the room, beautiful view. The mattress had springs.

The location and the view were good, but everything was poor and there was no hot water.

The hosts are welcoming and gracious. Knowing we were in a fairly remote area, we enjoyed the sense of community during our short stay. Dinner at the taverna was a delight because most of the ingredients came from the owner’s garden. It’s a family‑run property. The room was very small, and the shower was even smaller. Breakfast—bread, juice, jam—was a bit pricey at 8 euros per person.

The location is great, with a beautiful view over the Lassithi plateau. The room was small but cozy and very clean. The host was friendly and attentive. Breakfast and dinner at the tavern were excellent. It’s an ideal base for exploring the Lassithi plateau, the Dikteon cave, and for a mountain hike. Since I was traveling by public transport, Jiannis picked me up from Malia for a fair price and dropped me back. Highly recommended!
