The staff were very kind and helpful, and the room was clean and fine. There isn’t much to do nearby because the city is still being rebuilt, but if you’re in the area this hotel works well.

The location was not ideal.

The new accommodation sits right in the heart of the old town, which was completely destroyed by an earthquake a year ago, but the new hotel is part of the rebuilding effort. The breakfast spread was generous and you could even order a fresh omelet. The waiters were attentive. The rooms could have been a bit larger; they only had a king‑size bed.
