“A magical experience in Sinue, and a lifelong memory”

I honestly can’t find the right words to describe how wonderful this place is. I was a little hesitant when I first saw all the perfect five‑star reviews, but after spending two nights here, I can wholeheartedly say that Carl and Jose deserve every single one of them, and more. Carl and Jose are two of the kindest, warmest, and most genuine people we have ever met. Their care started even before we arrived, and every little detail throughout our stay showed just how much heart they put into what they do. From the beautiful decor and spotless rooms to the most delicious breakfasts and thoughtful travel recommendations, everything was simply perfect. They truly make every guest feel at home. At one point, I accidentally dropped a tiny earring, and they even noticed it and picked it up for me. It’s such a small gesture, but it says so much about how thoughtful they are. There is something magical about this little town. It felt as though time had slowed down, allowing us to appreciate every little moment. Their beautiful garden felt like a hidden paradise, and I will never forget the peacefulness of sitting on the terrace beneath the stars. In those quiet moments, everything seemed to stand still, and I felt a sense of calm that is so rare to find in everyday life. We stayed for only two nights, yet they became some of our most treasured memories of Mallorca. And of course, Samba the dog and LisaLiza the cat made everything even more special! I wouldn’t change a single thing about our stay. More than anything, I feel incredibly lucky to have met such wonderful people. Sometimes the most beautiful part of travelling isn’t just the places you visit, but the people you meet along the way. Thank you, Carl and Jose, for making this experience so unforgettable. If I ever return to Mallorca, I would come back here in a heartbeat. ❤️

Sineu rewards travelers who slow down, and this tiny boutique hotel is the perfect reason to do it. Carl and Jose bought this old mansion some years ago and have turned it into a stylish, deeply comfortable retreat. You feel the care they've put into it from the moment you arrive. The house breathes elegance, with original artworks filling every corner, including Carl's own paintings. It's a gallery as much as a hotel, and it never feels stiff. The details are what stayed with me: handmade glass trays made in Mallorca, lovely pottery from Carl's home country, and the most beautiful lamps. I arrived with no strong feelings about lamps and left converted, and I'm now actively shopping for some of my own. Outside, the garden is beautifully maintained, a lovely spot to unwind. There are only a few rooms, so it feels like staying at the home of friends with impeccable taste. Carl and Jose are warm, attentive hosts who make you feel welcome without ever intruding. If you want a peaceful escape with character, style and soul, this is it. I'd return in a heartbeat. Can't think of anything

This time staying at Es Picarol Sineu left a deep impression on us. We had been traveling in Spain for a long time and stayed in many different hotels (8 in total), but if I had to pick the best one of the trip, I would choose this without hesitation. For me, it was the best hotel of the trip, no one else. What really made it special was not just the beautiful, clean rooms and quiet environment, but the care and warmth of the people. From the first day we felt very seriously taken care of. Every morning they prepared a very generous, thoughtful breakfast for us. It wasn't the usual hotel buffet, but it felt like it was truly prepared for the guests. Sitting in the beautiful quiet courtyard, eating fresh breakfast, drinking coffee and juice became one of our favorite moments each morning. The breakfast itself was already good, but what moved us more was that they really cared about how we would spend our days in Mallorca. Every day they came to talk to us, ask where we were planning to go, and recommended different beaches, sights, restaurants, and some local tips that only locals know. For first‑time visitors to Mallorca, this kind of help is really important. Often the most confusing part of traveling is not the sights themselves, but not knowing where to go or how to arrange the day. Their daily recommendations saved us a lot of detours and let us see many beautiful places in Mallorca. Even more remarkable is that none of this feels like standardized hotel service. You feel they really want to chat, want to know where you went that day, want to tell you where to go tomorrow. It feels like meeting a few local friends in a strange city. The hotel itself is also very beautiful, with a local Mallorca house vibe. The courtyard is quiet, comfortable, and many details are arranged with taste. During the day we traveled all over the island, and when we came back at night, we really felt a sense of "home". And this place also had a very special meaning for me and my wife. It was the last hotel we stayed in during our Spanish trip. After traveling all over Spain, staying in Mallorca in such a warm place, having breakfast together, chatting, listening to their travel advice, and exploring the island was a perfect end to the whole journey. Some hotels get a 10 because the rooms, facilities, and service meet the standard. But for this place, the 10 feels like more than enough. Because what really sticks in memory is not the size of the bed or the luxury of the decor, but after many years, do you still remember the people, the breakfasts, the chats, the fact that someone seriously told you "tomorrow you can go here"? I can now fully understand why this hotel gets such a high rating. 10 points, truly deserved. Thank you for every breakfast you prepared, thank you for chatting with us every day, thank you for all the travel advice, and thank you for letting two strangers feel such rare warmth in Mallorca. This is the best hotel we stayed in during our Spanish trip, no one else. If we ever return to Mallorca, we won't need to think about where to stay. We will definitely come back.
