We came with our family of three kids and liked the free roaming squirrels, the area was wide, green, and we appreciated the privacy—no neighbors nearby. The pictures online are misleading—AI‑generated. The description promised squirrels, foxes, ponies, and alpacas, but in reality there were only squirrels. Foxes and alpacas live farther away with the goats. The house is old, the garden furniture and grill are worn, and the lighting inside is weak. We stayed during a rainy period, making it almost impossible to use the grill—it's under a bare sky and the only “tent‑style” roof is open; the pool area was left in a muddy state, all the water was sloshing around. We had three kids; the double bed in the old house was unsuitable, and the kids slept in a separate guest house where the toilet had no door (the bedroom and bathroom were basically one space). The pool isn’t really suitable for small children—there’s no shallow area, only a lake edge where you can just step into the water.
