The location of this hotel is amazing - it's right near Okaido shopping street and within walking distance to the cable car station for the castle, as well as Dogo Onsen and JR Matsuyama Station.
The hot spring was nice, but the building itself is pretty old - that's just something to be aware of if you're staying here.
The front desk staff were always friendly and helpful, but it felt like they didn't always follow through on their promises.
This place is a total steal - super clean and the price is amazing.

Located in the Okai‑do shopping area right in front of Don Quijote, it’s a shopper’s dream, and the public bath lets you share the Dogo hot‑spring water; the only downside was no power outlet near the bed, though they did provide a power strip which helped.

Being in the lively downtown made it handy, and the large onsen‑style bath felt clean and refreshing, but the faucet’s washer seemed loose so you have to tighten it hard to stop the water, and I wish the tub tap were a mixer.
