The breakfast outshines anything you’ll find locally, and the vistas—both sunrise and sunset—are spectacular. The host is friendly, engaging, and easy to chat with, staying in touch before arrival and keeping the conversation lively during the stay.

The room is very comfortable and roomy, offering incredible views of the countryside and Christchurch. The hot breakfast was beautifully prepared, and the host was welcoming and offered great suggestions for the next legs of our trip. I wouldn’t change a thing.

The view is great, the place is private, and the garden is lovely. I’m nervous about driving on mountain roads, but my husband isn’t, so he handled all the driving.
