The property is a few kilometres from Amalfi centre, with private parking available, the room is ultra‑modern, large and offers a breathtaking view. The manager is a very polite and helpful young woman. I recommend this place.

I would give Amalfi Montemare Rooms 20 stars if I could!!! It sits in the village of Pogerola, up in the mountains but only 20 minutes by bus to Amalfi. The location is perfect if you want something close to Amalfi yet still return to peace & quiet at night. There are also a few restaurants in Pogerola. The bus stop for Amalfi is very close to the apartment and the bus costs just €1.50. It could not be more convenient. I suggest you download the Unico Campania app for ease of buying tickets. The apartment itself is modern, very beautiful, spotlessly clean and consists of a well‑equipped bedroom & bathroom – plenty of towels & pillows, hairdryer, coffee machine & pods, fridge, kitchen utensils and a basket of snacks. It conveniently has USB and USB‑C sockets, as well as standard sockets. A very thoughtful gift was also left for us as I was celebrating my retirement. The view from the balcony and the terrace above the apartment is simply stunning!!! Sara and Giorgia were in regular contact by WhatsApp with us, even before we arrived and throughout our stay. Giorgia met us at the apartment and both she and Sara made sure to give us plenty of information and advice about what to do and where to go while staying there. They could not have been more helpful. While in Pogerola, I would also recommend walking the ancient stone pathway from the village down to Amalfi. This can be accessed behind Gerry’s Pub. It takes an hour, allowing for lots of photo stops, and is mostly in the shade. Not a strenuous walk at all but well worth doing. Absolutely nothing!

The stay was fantastic in every way! The spot is perfect for those who want the right mix of Costiera beauty and quiet away from tourist chaos. The highlight, the breathtaking view of the sea and surrounding hills, is priceless—waking up or eveninging from that perspective makes the trip unforgettable. The hospitality was warm: Alfonso welcomed us genuinely and gave practical advice on getting around, where to eat, and what to see. The rooms were extremely clean, detailed, bright, and had every comfort needed for total relaxation. Pogerola gives an authentic, relaxed vibe with great local food, yet stays well connected and close to Amalfi’s center with a bus stop near the hotel. A solid reference point for anyone wanting to experience the true essence of the Amalfi Coast. Highly recommended—we’ll definitely return!
