Great location, right in the heart of Stresa’s city centre, with short walks to the lake, restaurants and shops. The room had a fridge, microwave and air‑conditioning. The staff are typically Italian and a bit rough, but nowhere near as bad as the Google reviews suggest. Breakfast was tasty, though quite modest. The room was basic, old‑fashioned and already a bit worn. The hotel is noisy and the mattresses were already sagging.

The location was good and the staff were friendly. I got the feeling that the room wasn’t ready when I arrived.

The room had a microwave and fridge, was large, and offered a nice view of the square in the centre. However there was no sign, making the address hard to find. There was no soap, only disposable shampoo sachets, no kettle or glasses, and the chairs didn’t fit on the balcony. The keycard was outdated and it was difficult to lock the room.

The location is ultra‑central with a nice view. The building is dilapidated, the furnishings are ruined, and the bathroom lacks a bidet.

The room was fine and the location was great, but getting to the first floor was a hassle because the restaurant left trash everywhere.
