The value for money, cleanliness, location and service were all solid positives. The whole property felt pleasant. The room layout was impractical, with no power outlets near the bed, and the breakfast was mediocre.

The setting was beautiful—surrounded by trees in the forest. The hotel didn’t list coordinates or a precise address, so no GPS could find it. I had to wander around the nearby village and at 5 am ask locals for directions. We arrived at 8 am just after the border, only to find the hotel fully closed and no one answering the phone. We stumbled on a black entrance and met a cleaner who let us in; it was complete chaos. The key was handed out with a map of how the cleaner located the manager. With the so‑called “high‑class” service, we asked if we could check out half an hour later because we had only two hours to sleep, but they said everything was booked. When we left, no one was around. The experience was awful—my son even found someone’s hair on his pillow.

A palace in the woods! The breakfast was a bit more modest than what you’d expect from typical Polish hotels.

The breakfast was generous and tasty. The hotel feels like someone once invested money and now just wants to extract it. It’s cold inside, no heating, the bathroom cleanliness is lacking, and the TV is tiny.
