The communication was good and check‑in was easy. The price‑quality ratio was solid, and the place was clean, tidy, and in a great location. The heating made a ticking noise, which was disappointing, but it’s probably a technical issue. A few days earlier we stayed at this hostel and didn’t hear that sound.

The room was fine—small but nice, and the bed was decent. The location is great compared to the shops, restaurants, and the IJssel. The hotel is noisy; every door opening or closing is audible. The church is close to the hotel, giving a beautiful view, but the clock also rings twice an hour, day and night, and you can hear it even with the window closed.

It’s close to the train station, well lit, well equipped, the beds are comfy, and the kitchen is nice. We might have just missed where the hairdryer was, but it would have been nice to have one.
