“Nice stay, comfortable.”

The location and price were solid, and the room was clean and smelled fresh. The only downside was the lack of a microwave for reheating food.

“It may be inexpensive, but we are willing to pay more for a better room.”

The Travel Lodge is a budget motel and it’s relatively inexpensive. The bathtub in our room didn’t drain properly, so after a shower a thin pool of soapy water sat in the tub. When it dried it left a very slippery film, which is a hazard for anyone wanting to shower. I asked the desk for a shower mat but they didn’t have one, and I don’t think the staff even understood what I was talking about. The motel sits on the highway that passes through Quesnel, and occasionally at night large, noisy trucks barrel by, creating a fair amount of noise.

The location is very friendly, the staff are welcoming, and the room was really clean. Nothing about the hotel itself was negative; only the people next door were very loud and still up at 3 am talking.

“Convenient and Warm.”

It’s very close to the hospital and within walking distance of good restaurants. The gentleman who checked us in came across as warm and understanding. Its location is right on the main highway running through Quesnel, so if you’re tired enough it won’t bother you at all ☺️
