The pub felt like a high‑end boutique B&B with very comfortable rooms, a gorgeous rural setting, and a gastro / à la carte menu that I’d highly recommend. I honestly have no complaints.

A very cute pub with a lovely room, superb breakfast, great dinner and proper English beer. It’s a bit out of Ambleside, which is nice, and it feels like a real country pub.

The period‑style décor is nice and proper, but the outside sitting area is very limited.

Nice location, quiet at night, and a pleasant bar. The evening menu is very limited, breakfast is okay, and the food is expensive.
