A solid place to stay with a very friendly breakfast staff, but the details leave much to be desired – the pool needs renovation (tiled cracked), outdoor furniture is untidy, broken exterior lighting, breakfast is decent but plain, rooms are noisy, and other minor flaws show the potential could be huge.

The view of the Douro, a true lookout, the pool, and the entire space are impressive; the kitchen is very well equipped for use, and the rooms are a good size. The only downside was that I only had one day there.

The view is unbeatable and the vibe is cozy, with only 4-5 rooms in the whole property. The rooms are good, featuring a large shower area, and the breakfast is nice.

The beauty of the place and the lady who takes care of it are highlights. However, the outdoor area lacks charm – the pool is in bad shape, all the parasols are broken, the chairs have no cushions, and there is no exterior lighting so it gets very dark when you come back in the evening. In room 2 the bed creaks a lot 😖.
