The compact Japanese room was a great find - the bedding was super comfy and the private toilet was a nice touch. The public onsen was a lovely bonus, and the location near Fukui station made it easy to get around. The views of the moat from the back of the hotel were a nice surprise, even if the modern building behind it took away from the castle's original charm. It was a perfect spot for a quick overnight stay before heading to the dinosaur museum and catching a train.
