Nestled 500 m from San Martín de los Andes’ city centre, Apart Rose Garden offers self‑catering bungalows with heating, cable TV, fully‑equipped kitchens, and dining areas. Free Wi‑Fi, parking, luggage storage, and currency exchange enhance convenience. The garden setting, proximity to the bus terminal (150 m) and 12 km to Chapelco Ski Centre, and 20 km to Aviador Carlos Campos Airport make it a prime, tranquil retreat.

Comfortable for three people. The pickup truck didn’t lower the roof.

I stayed in a roomy two‑story apartment in a two‑story building; the kitchen and living room were on the ground floor, with two bedrooms upstairs separated by a folding partition. It’s on the outskirts of town—very quiet, with only the sound of wild birds. A large lake with boats and yachts is just 200 m away, and the town centre starts 200 m from the property. Several supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, gas stations and other useful tourist amenities are nearby, and a big ski resort is 25 km away. One room has a single bed, the other a double bed; extra blankets are provided. The bathroom is fully equipped. The staff don’t speak English but are very friendly. On‑site parking is available. The apartment is heated by a gas radiator on the ground floor. The kitchen includes a refrigerator, gas stove, microwave, water heater, and the necessary cookware and utensils. I didn’t dislike anything about the apartment itself, but I want to warn tourists that Argentina uses specific electrical outlets, so bring the right adapters. For mobile phones, use prepaid “Claro” SIM cards—they can be activated quickly at the point of sale. Avoid “Personal” cards; they’re only for Argentines and are a major headache and waste of money for foreigners. You’ll have to find an official company office to register the card, and the staff there rarely speak English and are completely unfriendly (in Bariloche). Ultimately you won’t be able to register the card and won’t get your money back. That was the one thing I really didn’t like. I also want to warn tourists that at the “La Anónima” supermarket you’ll be asked for a passport or ID. If you don’t have it, or if the staff find your passport unsatisfactory, you won’t be able to buy anything. They refused to sell me food because I didn’t have my passport. It felt like segregation, which is a crime. I didn’t like that at all.

Garagem coberta e o atendimento!.

We didn’t like the place because the posted photos didn’t match reality. The information was misleading, the rooms were very uncomfortable, the mattresses hard, the bathrooms minuscule, the layout poor, and it’s an old building. I wouldn’t go back.
