One of the most unique moments of our trip! The place is very cute and the vibe meshes perfectly with Kyoto. The best part for us was sleeping on futons on the floor—completely different from a typical hotel and exactly what we wanted to try while in Japan. It made our Kyoto stay even more special and authentic. A beautiful memory! I liked everything.

The hotel is well placed a few minutes from Gion, the staff keep a low profile, and the smoking area is a nice touch for smokers. On each floor there’s a small room with ice, a microwave, a water dispenser and washing machines, which is very handy. The space is a bit cramped for two adults and two children.
