My wife and I call this the Adequate hotel because it offers just the essentials a motel can provide, with a clean, safe room in a superb location for our interests, and the price is hard to beat. However, when we arrived at 2:30 pm in August, the AC had not been running for a while; the room was at 96 °F and it took 3‑4 hours to become livable. It would help if we could know our room ahead of time and have the AC pre‑activated, especially if we were arriving later at night.

Everything was great: check‑in was easy, parking was straightforward, the location is ideal for traveling, service is excellent, and the rooms are decent. Everything was absolutely great.

The price is reasonable, but on that 98 °F day the AC was off when I got to my room, which was 80 °F and the unit didn’t cool well; it took 3 hours to reach a comfortable temperature.
