Sansar Hotel Erdenet

The hotel’s modern touches and the spacious, clean room were nice, and the lounge bar on the ground floor was comfortable. The reception was unhelpful and didn’t speak a word of English; they made us walk around the hotel with our luggage instead of using the elevator, and it would have been much easier to go straight from the parking. We had to ask for the gate to be opened so we could park. Payment is required in advance, and before check‑out they check the fridge bar consumption. Breakfast offered no choices and was poorly organized.

The rooms were very comfortable, especially the mattresses, everything was super clean, and the staff helped us find a driver; I’d definitely stay again.

We really liked the Sansar Hotel in Erdenet; it’s one of the best hotels outside Ulaanbaatar, centrally located with restaurants and shops within walking distance. We stayed in the Superior Suite with a private large sauna area, which was great. The bed was large and the mattress very comfortable. The reception was staffed at all times, and the personnel were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was deliciously prepared and tasted great. Parking is free on the premises. We were absolutely satisfied and highly recommend Sansar.
