The only redeeming factor was the location. The apartment was in poor condition: on the first day the internet ran at 0.56 Mbps download and 20.1 Mbps upload, only improving the next day after I complained. The bathroom drain was clogged and fixed after I raised the issue. The lock’s core on the apartment door was loose, making me feel unsafe; a towel from the previous guest was hanging on the closet hook, the toilet seat was wobbly, and the shower door didn’t close fully, spraying water onto the floor. The floor was perpetually wet from a leak, the lights in the bedroom and bathroom were dim, and mosquitoes buzzed all night. Breakfast only offered a croissant and latte, so I left the hotel a day early. Cleaning was subpar, though the staff member was friendly within his means.
