The accommodation was very clean and beautifully furnished, but I would not consider it fair to pay the same price for a double room or even a single room surcharge for future bookings; there was a single room available, yet the value for money does not match.

We stayed in one of the hotel’s vacation apartments in the adjacent building, just a few meters from the dike and the sea, and the location was superb; we only used the hotel breakfast on one day, which was fine, and otherwise we got everything we needed from the recommended bakery across the street, including coffee that was poured directly into our mugs from the machine—something I haven’t seen before, and the staff simply said it was more sustainable (she was right); we wanted a quiet holiday to relax and unwind, which we achieved perfectly here, and we’d love to come back; unfortunately, we did not receive fresh towels or dish towels even after we asked.

The apartment is lovely and well kept, with good equipment and a superb location, though a toaster would have been nice and the stairs to the units felt a bit awkward.
