The cottage’s location was fine, but the electricity cut out once in the evening and then again from about 7:30 am until roughly 7 pm, which we hadn’t been warned about and found quite inconvenient. The mosquito nets also need replacing.

The spot was convenient and Juan Pablo was friendly, yet the lodging was filthy and poorly maintained, making our stay very unpleasant. The room was swarming with cockroaches – we counted more than nine and had to kill them – and the lights went out every night, leaving us without ventilation. Juan Pablo only showed up the first night; after that a staff member who was never actually present at the hotel handled us. We locked ourselves out of the room and had to sort it out on our own, and during the two nights we stayed the rooms were never cleaned.

“Excelente para familias.”

Everything is excellent! The location, not on the front line, offers peace for sleeping and resting. Juan Pablo’s helpfulness and great attitude are essential, always available and attentive. The site is very close, just a few minutes from a free public beach; you can go there, and next to the lodging is a much cheaper restaurant than the beachside eateries. When you head to the free beach, ask Yeison at Rosario Beach – he’s the best there and can point you toward other activities. The eco‑hotel is highly recommended.

Fernando makes your stay on the island unforgettable. The cabins are small, but they have everything you need to spend a few days exploring the area.
