Living on a sailboat felt original, and there was a shower at the nearby hotel that was more convenient for washing up. The problem was that you couldn’t lock the sailboat from the inside; the window and door wouldn’t lock, which caused stress. At least there was a security guard on the pier at night.

The surrounding nature was beautiful, with crocodiles, flamingos, and many colorful fish. The seating on the pier was lovely, and you could fish and watch lots of birds. It was very hot on the boat, so you had to keep it ventilated, which let mosquitoes in. The water was only enough for two quick showers, so we used the toilet and shower at the nearby hotel. It’s not luxurious and is somewhat remote; shops and the beach are farther away.
