“ホテルと言うよりは、立地の大変良い古めのワンルームマンション”

立地の良さ。まず主要なバス停、JR、地下鉄駅が徒歩数分の範囲にあり、京都市のどこに行くのも簡単だ。すぐそばにコンビニ、徒歩5分の距離に大きめのスーパーがあり、買い物にも困らない。近くにそば屋、ラーメン屋数軒、隣に中華料理屋もあるので食べるのも便利。 ラグジュアリーシングルの部屋には大きめの冷蔵庫、電子レンジ、流しとコンロの他に洗濯機が備え付けてあり、連泊が大変快適だ。特にプライベート洗濯機の存在はかなり大きかった。 これらの利点に加えて、宿泊費が比較的低く抑えられていること。. 基本的に掃除はされているようだが、通路の床は沢山の汚れが染み付いていて、しかも日によってはタバコの匂いが充満しており、あまり快適ではない。 部屋はバスルームなどは大変綺麗にしてあり良い。しかし部屋の壁や床が薄汚く、掃除の後は消臭剤を大量に噴霧しているらしく、部屋に入った途端、その匂いで昭和のゲームセンターに迷い込んだかのような錯覚受ける。部屋にあったソファーは古すぎてもはやクッションが無く骨組みが直接体に当たり、座れる仕様ではなかった。 宿泊費が低く抑えられていると書いたが、1日500円程の宿泊税を別途徴収されるし、フロントにお願いしてタクシーを呼んでもらう事は出来ない。(自分で電話して呼ばなければならない)。アメニティも最低限だ。（茶やコーヒー等の飲み物は用意されていない）レストランも無い。

The bath is large. The hallway was dirty, and the mirror in the room was hard to see.

“Excelente hotel, con habitaciones grandes cómodas y bien ubicado.”

The location and facilities are good. The downside is that there’s no place to store your luggage after check‑out if your flight is much later than 2 p.m.

There’s a microwave in the room. Because I didn’t notice it was a smoking room, I ended up in a smoking room and the smell was heavy; after leaving, my luggage carried a strong cigarette odor.
