Being just a stone's throw from the parties was perfect, and the building itself is really cute and charming. Our ground‑floor room was surprisingly roomy, though the shower acted up at first; the staff sorted it out right away.

Everything the listing promised was there, and the owners were genuinely friendly and ready to help with anything. The only downside was the room feeling a bit stuffy – better ventilation would have made it perfect.

Location was spot on, close to everything I needed. Unfortunately the room smelled like fresh paint and the listing never mentioned the rooms are actually containers, which was a bit off‑putting.

“Just very poor value for money. They got lots of excellent reviews but I’m doubtful, maybe our standards are higher than”

The family running the place were truly kind, which made the stay pleasant. However, the pictures were misleading – the room is a shipping container, and the ‘deluxe’ queen setup turned out to be a queen bed plus a sofa‑bed with a pull‑out mattress, no duvet cover, and way too small for four people. There was mould on the shower door because of poor ventilation, and the hot tub stayed cold despite asking for it ahead of time.
