“Beautiful property in the heart of Nubra valley.”
The property is stunningly beautiful, set in the picturesque Nubra Valley. The food was kind and decent, but there is definitely room for improvement.

Nubra Ecolodge, a family‑run eco‑retreat near Sumur sand dunes in Leh’s Nubra Valley, offers panoramic 360° views of the Karakoram, desert dunes, and the confluence of the Shyok and Nubra rivers. Guests enjoy a spacious open deck, vegetable gardens, and native orchards of poplar, willow, apricot, and apple. Ideal for long walks, wildlife spotting, and serene riverside dining.

The breakfast and à la carte dinner were excellent, the rooms were spacious with wonderful views, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The bathroom was impractical and the facilities were not especially well maintained.

The food was fabulous and the staff were polite. However, the room assigned to us was tucked away in a secluded corner of the resort where the family stayed, which I didn’t like.

This is the place for you if you want a comfortable stay with all the amenities; however, since I prefer rustic settings and it's a big property, you might find it crowded. If you're looking for a more private location and prefer secluded areas, this might not be for you. Sand dunes are also within walking distance. Both the food and the service are excellent. Since it was only a one-night stay, there were no problems or worries. No complaints
