The staff were always attentive and smiling, and the location right on the black‑sand beach was perfect. The rooms were comfortable with good bedding, but the breakfast was very filling yet the fruit juice tasted chemical and didn’t live up to the quality of the place. The personnel remained pleasant and friendly throughout.

The buffet food looked dry, as if it had been stored from the previous day, and the coffee area wasn’t clean; I had to ask for it cleaned before I could get coffee, and there was visible grime that didn’t look recent. There was no variety, the fruit didn’t look fresh, and the coffee was very bad, so I had to eat breakfast outside most days—worthless to pay for it. There was no variety of pastries or bread, and the “juice” machine mixed water with an orange liquid, it wasn’t real juice. Towels cost 2 € each for the pool, and every time you change them you’re charged another 2 €; they’re also very old and could be thrown away. The hotel is old, the room lamp sounded like it might electrocute you when turned on, and there wasn’t much light in the room.

The hotel faced the sea and had a private beach, and the staff were kind. However, the building felt old and not modern, the meals were basic and not varied, and the breakfast offered very little choice.

The location was ideal, close to the beach and attractions, and the staff were friendly. The bed felt firm and the pool water was cold.
