“Comfortable and homey stay”

We had a great time at Casa Maya; the location was convenient with most attractions within walking distance, and a complimentary welcome drink at the front desk was a nice touch. The room felt cozy, featuring a spacious bathroom, a mini balcony, and a double bed that fit two adults comfortably. The shared kitchen downstairs was fully equipped and handy, and we could even leave our luggage after checkout and relax in the backyard while sorting things out. The owner stayed responsive through Booking and ensured everything ran smoothly. Overall, the stay was comfortable and pleasant, and we appreciated the homely vibe, the convenient spot, and the thoughtful service. Minor issues included a sink that drained slowly and a lobby light that flickered through the gap around the door, noticeable when lying on the side of the bed nearest the entrance.

“We would definetely recommend staying at Casa Maya! It’s located right in the City of Porto and the hosts are kind.”

Zac made communication a breeze, the location in Porto was great, and the room and bathroom were nice and cozy. The only downside was that our room had no window, so it could get a bit noisy at times.

“Si quieres venir a oporto, ven aquí.”

The hotel is close to the metro and offers acceptable value for money, plus the self‑check‑in is convenient. Cleaning could be slightly better, especially in the bathroom area, and the shampoo and body wash were unsatisfactory—fairly bad smelling, and I had to bring my own.

“Good for a quick stay”

The building’s location and the staff were both very pleasant, but the parking situation was less than ideal—free parking is 2.5 km away, and the room itself was much smaller than I had imagined.

The place is well situated, just a short walk down to the city centre or a quick metro ride. The room includes a nice little balcony.
