We arrived on the full‑moon day in Tiruvannamalai, when the city was closed. The courtyard sits on a hill, not directly in Tiruvannamalai, so it was quiet—though not on the full‑moon night. Watching the pilgrims hike around the mountain was lovely, and an ancient temple is nearby. The room was clean and everything else was fine.
