The studio’s quality and layout, the comfort of the bedding, and the pool were all excellent. The only downside was the lack of a sauna.

“Le bonheur”

It was beautiful and peaceful, and the pool was fantastic. The only issue was the pool hours; starting at 16h feels a bit late, but the hosts must have their reasons.

No breakfast was offered. The apartment is very functional and well designed, with a king‑size bed, a walk‑in shower, and a fully equipped kitchen: range hood, oven, stove, microwave, coffee maker, and dishwasher. The cabinets came with dishes and utensils, everything was present. A large‑screen TV in the room and very comfortable bedding. A big park with secure parking for the car. Even though the apartment is perfect, the manor at L’Aiguillon doesn’t fit the “bed‑and‑breakfast” category: we never met our host, had no contact beyond email for a small TV issue resolved by email. A key box gave access to the accommodation. No friendly interaction. Work and family take up a lot of time, but a brief courtesy visit from Fanny would have been a plus. It’s just a furnished rental, perfect in that sense but lacking human warmth.
