“Ideal for a short city break. Loved Verona”
The spot was great, and the host let us drop off our luggage early when we asked. The only gripe was that extra toilet roll; even with the instructions it was hard to find.
“Comfortable, convenient and a lot more accessible and flexible than the posh hotel next door.”
Having an open kitchen was handy if you wanted to cook, but the local cafés were also excellent. The main issue was locating the entrance; clearer directions would help. The fridge had a nice white Lugana that was a lovely touch. Contact was a bit spotty, and it’s not a Bed & Breakfast but a shared apartment, which works well.
“Buono”
The location was good. The shower lacked a phone holder, so if you didn’t want to wash your hair you couldn’t shower. The yellow mat was in place of the shower curtain.
The location was good and the bed was comfy. The fridge had water in the room and everything was clean. The windows were poorly insulated and there was a lot of noise outside, so it was hard to sleep. After 13:00 we had to pay to keep our luggage there.
“I had an excellent stay slightly let down by the non provision of fresh towels”
All the communal facilities were ready for breakfast or other meals, though I didn’t use them because there were many restaurants nearby. The location was superb, just a short walk to the bus and train stations and the city center. Arriving after opening hours was easy thanks to the detailed instructions. The place was clean, the bed comfortable, and the shower excellent. The downside was that staff checked the room once a day for an unclear reason, the bed wasn’t made, and the towels (one bath size and one face cloth) weren’t changed during my seven‑night stay, which I expected at least a couple of times.
