The lodge’s location is very nice and the setting is pleasant, full of greenery. The breakfast was also great. The lodge could have informed us about the difficulty of reaching Delfinópolis. We didn’t know, but the ferry can take many hours depending on the day/time.

The Wi‑Fi was basically useless – it kept dropping and was painfully slow, which made it hard to get anything done online. Apart from that, the room itself was fine.

The inn is charming and the staff are friendly; breakfast and dinner were tasty, and the open‑fire cooking was perfect for the chilly weather. The bathroom was clean, but the room showed its age – the LED strip by the bed didn’t work, there was nowhere to set a suitcase, and you could hear everything from the neighboring room, especially on the last night.

Our couple’s suite was really comfortable – the air‑conditioning, duvet and bed were all top‑notch, and the bathroom with its hydro‑massager felt luxurious. The staff were attentive and the food was good, though the bar menu was on the pricey side.

The shower worked fine, but the mattress left a lot to be desired – it was too soft and didn’t give proper support.
