Unfortunately, my experience wasn’t entirely positive. The building’s appearance matched the photos and has good potential, but I noticed a lack of cleanliness. As soon as I entered the room, a strong smell from the bathroom spread throughout the space and lingered into the next day. When I used the bed, I found hair in the sheets, which was quite disappointing. The place is pretty and could be enjoyable, but cleanliness and hygiene are crucial in a hospitality setting and need more attention.

“Toll für Romentdecker , die viel unterwegs sein wollen”

The location was super cheap for the Vatican, Metro, buses, Engelsburg, Tiber, Prati: a good neighbourhood with shops, bars, supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants, and bars around the corner. A nice little fridge. Laundry and towels were changed well: everything was very clean. The room fairy in April was very nice and helpful! ♥️ A very pretty old house with a concierge and elevator! Good sound insulation. It was not age‑appropriate; the shower had nothing to hold onto, was slippery, and the drain cover was loose – a fall hazard! There was little warm water even after asking for a hand shower, and the alternative rain shower lacked fine adjustment. The coffee machine was on the hallway. The safe was not installed and was non‑functional.

The staff were friendly and helpful. They accommodated our requests, though the bed was a bit tired and sloped. The water pressure was terrible; I mentioned it when we left. I hope they’ll fix it. The shower had no pressure, and the bed sloped toward the middle; a fresh coat of paint could help.
