“The perfect base to explore Puglia”
We can’t rate this place high enough, especially with the wonderful Valerio and Beatrice at the helm! Over our two‑week holiday in Puglia, we stayed in five different spots, each scoring 9+ on Booking, but the five nights at Le Comarelle were by far the best. Every corner of the property—room, pool, grounds—was immaculate, stylish, comfortable, and well cared for. The room was spotless and had everything we needed, plus a generous spread of snacks (the taralli were delicious) and artisan toiletries. Even the small touches mattered: sun‑lounger covers, mosquito repellent on the terrace, and homemade olive oil in the kitchen. It’s clear the couple built this around their own travel passions. The hosts were fantastic—kind, considerate, responsive, and fun to chat with. They let us roam their olive grove and sample fresh figs. As others have noted, the pool is amazing, perhaps the cleanest I’ve seen. The shared outdoor kitchen is well equipped, and cooking outside was a real treat. The location is superb, with easy car access to Locorotondo, Martina Franca, Alberobello, Cisternino, Ostuni, and more. We even strolled to the nearby Sale e Pepe restaurant several times for a tasty local meal. All in all, an outstanding stay. Thanks to Valerio, Beatrice, and their lovely daughters! I wish we could have stayed longer.
