The lake and the spectacular view were great, yet the cabin we booked lacked water; we had requested a cabin without a bathroom but with a fully equipped kitchen (fridge, sink, stove), and there was no mention of water absence. The sink had no tap, and a 10‑liter jug was placed nearby, 200 metres away, forcing us to travel that distance to fill it.

The location was fantastic, the service was good, the staff were friendly, the cabin was nice, and the surroundings were beautiful.

It’s a canyon RV campground where the communal area houses the washrooms, toilets, and kitchen, and the rooms don’t provide linens, which is typical for this type of site and works for motorhomes, though drivers need to adapt to this style of travel. The downside was that the rooms had no running water—was that to save water, for environmental reasons, or just a rule of the industry?
