The cabin was clean and cosy, with everything we needed. I also enjoyed the fishing right on the doorstep, and overall the cabin was excellent.

The staff were very helpful and the setting is beautiful. The floor could have been cleaned better, but that was a minor issue; everything else was spotless.

The spot is lovely and very quiet until the last morning. The pods are great and the location is very relaxing—I would book again. I feel I may have been slightly overcharged. The beds aren’t large enough for a really good sleep, and the kitchen lacks sharp knives or scissors. On the morning we left, a large group of fishermen arrived early, shouting and making too much noise; their vehicles blocked us too. They were not staying at the accommodation.

Chapelfields was exceptional; we stayed in pod 4 and the location was absolutely incredible and tranquil—perfect for complete relaxation. Thank you, Julie, for your incredible warmth, charm, and smiling happy face; we truly loved our stay. Nothing else was lacking, though I would suggest providing a floor mop in the pods so the floors can be cleaned, especially on rainy days.
