I stayed in a clean, quiet room where we could relax easily. The staff flexibly accommodated a family bath, which was a big help. The kids enjoyed reading Dungeon Meals + Adventurer Guide.

The owner, who is an elderly couple, was very friendly. We had a four‑person room that was spacious, clean, and had a great view, making it comfortable. I’d use it again if the chance arises. I opted for the breakfast included, and the portions were generous enough to fill me up. The owner told me it was okay to use the larger bath, so I took advantage of the roomy, relaxed soak. Towels, a face towel, a toothbrush, and a hair dryer were in the room, and the toilet was in the room as well, clean and tidy. The downside was that the room was on the third floor, so the stairs were a bit steep, and the parking lot was on a slope, making it a little hard to park.

The room was always clean. This time I used the large public bath, and it was comfortable. The only issue was that the shoe rack didn’t have enough shelves.

The owners were very kind, and the lady did everything she could to communicate with us despite the language barrier. We were treated like family in a wonderful setting, and I’ll definitely return to Gamagori and stay with these people again. Japan’s efficiency and clarity were evident. The Honssen at the site was also a real bonus. There isn’t much to do in Gamagori beyond walking on the beach or strolling around, and that in itself is a real change of scenery from Japan’s rural or modern sides—just the rhythm of a small seaside town of human scale. Thank you for everything.
