The rooms were clean and tidy, and the first‑floor common area was practical; we brought in take‑away breakfast or snacks every day, and having a table and sink was really convenient. The guesthouse offered free airport transfers, and the staff were all friendly. The location was close to Magong city attractions and food, and parking was easier than expected; we found spots every day. We’re glad we chose Island Journey Guesthouse, making our Penghu family trip more relaxed and enjoyable, and we recommend it to travelers on a free‑style Penghu trip. The only minor drawback was that the shower area’s drainage was a bit slow; if you shower continuously, the water sometimes pooled and leaked into the dry‑wet separation area. After we reported it, the staff fixed it the next day, and subsequent use was fine. Their quick response and attention to guest feedback were commendable.
