When I entered my room, the sheet had stains and smelled like urine. The toilet hadn’t been cleaned, and the bathroom sink was full of hair! Not happy at all.

Not a lot. It’s drab and a bit shabby without the chic. There’s no welcome on the mat… an old‑style guesthouse with no features to make it more inviting. Good for single men needing a room for an odd night if working locally. It’s basic but suitable for a short overnight stay.

I received good service during my visit.

Only a 10 minute walk to Cliffs Pavilion, handy for gigs, but I don't understand why they don't advertise that. The shower curtain wraps around you while showering, and there's no gel or shampoo like you get in all other places I've stayed; for the £60 price, it feels a bit overpriced for what you get.
