The team at Helen Browning’s are genuinely wonderful—kind and welcoming. The hotel itself is stunning, the food (and coffee) is superb, and the farm shop is charmingly picturesque.

We arrived by bike from the Ridgeway, exhausted, yet the staff made us feel right at home and took good care of us. The extra family room was ideal for weary travelers!

The accommodation, housed in a converted farm building near the pub with reception in the adjacent shop, was excellent. Dinner and breakfast were both very good, and the pub’s Helen Browning gin is a personal favorite. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped, making for a very enjoyable stay.

The landlord was amazing. Very friendly, courteous and made me feel like he was genuinely happy I had stayed. The room was clean, bed was exceptionally comfortable, and had all the amenities you need. Brekkie was excellent. Pub area had a homely and friendly feel. It was a little out of the way location wise but that's overridden by the complete experience. Nothing worth mentioning. The good was too good so anything else isn't important
