A very nice room, all modern and comfortable. The restaurant is excellent with tasty beer. Breakfast is very good. The staff were super nice. The hotel sits right by the train station, and you’re in Coburg in 10 minutes.

The GROSCH Brauhotel & Gasthof, located 300 metres from Rödental Train Station, offers traditional Franconian cuisine and a brewery. Elegant rooms feature flat-screen TVs, minibars, and wooden décor. A restaurant with beer garden, brewery tours, and 24-hour reception are available. The hotel is 2 km from the A73 motorway and 40 minutes from historic Bamberg, with Veste Coburg Castle 15 minutes away.

Excellent breakfast and local cuisine that was very tasty. We were annoyed we couldn’t take any beer home, it was so good. The location is top. There’s bike parking. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We’ll come back.

I liked the room and bathroom; the window was closed so it stayed quiet, the food was good, and the staff were friendly. The kitchen, however, closes at 19:00.

The staff were very friendly and attentive, but the hotel sits on a main street, making it relatively loud. The parking is not right next to the hotel; you have to cross the main road to reach it.

The hotel is nice, the breakfast is good, and the room is pleasant. There’s free parking nearby, and the mirror in front of the bathroom window is a clever touch I hadn’t seen before. Unfortunately, the mattresses were sagging. The glass door to the bathroom is opposite the bed, so the room lights up when someone goes to the bathroom at night, creating a strobe effect all over the room when the train passes outside, which confused me a bit at night.
