Holiday Inn Express Romeoville by IHG

Everything was perfect and there were no complaints at all.

Very clean and close to everything we needed, but people in the hallways were very loud.

“Nice people, great location and friendly environment definitely staying here again.”

The staff were amazing from check‑in to check‑out, friendly and helpful with our requests and questions about the area; housekeeping was also very friendly and accommodating, so we’ll likely stay here again. However, we noticed a lack of trash receptacles in the hotel, and on a couple of days the trash cans near the elevators overflowed because guests were probably dumping their trash there; housekeeping fixed the issue early in the a.m., after which we didn’t notice it again.

“OK stay, not as nice a place/location as the Holiday Inn we were at in Lincoln NE”

Breakfast was good, the beds were comfortable, and there were cookies in the lobby, but we didn’t realize the bathroom had a pocket door instead of a regular door, which I don’t like. Driving to get fast food for dinner was stressful due to heavy traffic and getting into the mall areas was a bit complicated, and the desk lamp was not moveable and a bit close to your head when working on the laptop; it wasn’t as nice a place as the Holiday Inn we stayed at in Lincoln NE the night before.

The facilities are clean and well maintained, but the reception staff were terrible and wouldn’t help because they couldn’t speak English.
