The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The room’s size and layout are fine for its smallness. The hotel’s location isn’t bad either! Cleaning, climate control in the rooms (no window for fresh air or good ventilation), and the bathroom were horrible. I had to ask for a clean because of mold on the shower curtain. The shower area was full of mold between the tiles. The bathroom needs serious renovation. I don’t mind the small room and bathroom, but please make it a little presentable and clean. Moldy, dirty shower curtains are a no‑go. The staff was kind enough to change it right away, but honestly I shouldn’t have had to ask… Cleanliness needs improvement! The whole wall above the bed light had a thick layer of dust. Just turning on the light above the bed shows this layer, and it gives me icks about what else might not have been cleaned.
The room was a bit pricey but spotless and comfortable, and the shower had a nice strong spray; being about a 10‑minute walk from Surabaya Gubeng station made catching my early‑morning train very convenient. No complaints at all.

The hotel is within walking distance of Surabaya Gubeng and is very clean and comfortable. It was a little hard to find because the ground‑floor café was closed when we arrived; just ask the guard and he’ll point you in the right direction.
