The bed is comfortable, location near two metro stops, the Colosseum is a 25‑minute walk, plenty of nice restaurants nearby plus snacking and a supermarket. Friendly staff, very responsive owner. Concierge available if the room isn’t ready upon arrival. I found the cleaning lacking: old soap in the shower tray, hair in the drain and in the sink, floor not cleaned, old shoe marks in the room. I mentioned it to the caretaker and the next day they sprayed white vinegar in the bathroom, but that was it; the floor stayed the same. We also rented a scooter for 48 hours; there’s a large indoor parking, but the caretaker wouldn’t let us put it there. I admit I would have felt more reassured knowing it was inside at night, but… The room was badly sound‑proofed; I would have liked to sleep a bit more on my last day than be woken at 6 am after an HYROX the day before.
